The process
- You send a request through the form.
- We forward it to one installer. If you consented, your request goes to one independent fence installer that serves your area.
- The installer contacts you to measure and quote. Their quote, contract, warranty, and workmanship are theirs. We're not a party to that agreement.
If nobody we work with covers your address, we'll tell you and stop there.
Money
Using this site is free. The installer may pay us a fee for referrals or for being the installer we send requests to. That fee is between us and the installer. Nobody adds it to your bill on our behalf.
What we expect from the installer
- Proof of liability insurance and any license the work requires.
- A written quote that lists material, height, length, gates, and post setting.
- Pulling or helping you pull the local fence permit where one is required.
- Filing a MISS DIG ticket before digging.
We don't inspect the work or guarantee results. Check insurance and ask questions before you sign.
Our content standards
Every rule summarized on this site links back to a public source: municipal fence pages and ordinances, Michigan statutes and EGLE policy, NOAA climate normals, and USDA soil descriptions. We don't publish reviews, ratings, project photos, or credentials we can't verify, and we don't claim to be a local company with a shop or crew. If a rule changes or we got something wrong, email [email protected] and we'll fix it.
